Have not played in 3 years. Dear god help me
Haven't logged in in a few years decided to pick back up my addiction of gw. I bought gw trilogy to getbackup to speed. Back in the day I was a serious forge runner and had a buddy I would team up with to do 55/ss uw. So most of my chars have the top of the line gear ( from 07' ) but im clueless on what the working solo build is for uw. I was wondering if someone had a link to show the latest build. Also is it worth buying eotn?
Oh another thing.. Before I quit gw i dumped my account of every last penny and ecto. So I'm completly broke. If it's not possible to jump right into uw where is a good place to start. I have every character with a handful of elites on most of themm. I believe my warrior and monk have most the skills so I guess that's where I should start since I don't have cash to buy skills?
Thank you for helping me with this and hopefully I can get back into gw like I used to.

Yes. If you want to get back into GW, it's worth it. It's pretty cheap nowadays anyway. More heroes, PvE-only skills (and a couple of non-PvE only skills), and the Hall of Monuments (you get stuff in GW2 if you put stuff in) are all in EotN. Decent content as well, though it'll probably be too hard until you've finished a campaign or two. It leads into GW2, if you're looking into getting it.

Claim your 50 TRP to get 40-50k in the account (see posts 27 and 28 in the following link). More tips here: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/h...t10437301.html
PS: You would have seen that if you bothered to read the stickies.

Also there will be a nice handful of gifts with minipets in your bags. They can be sold unopened, or you can open them. However most white minipets have low value but if you get some of the gold and green minis from the latest years they are worth quite a bit.
That can easily fund a few elite tomes and regular skills so you can equip new builds. And yes, buy eotn. Its worth playing by itself and it gives you extra pve skills of which some are required for many farm builds.

That's the latest and greatest 55/ss build. Actually uses a 400hp monk.
As far as builds go most ppl just use pvxwiki.

It's not being unforgiving. It's that it's unfair to expect people to put the same links to PvX etc in each and every thread like this that comes up every few weeks. How can you expect other people to put time in each and every time when you haven't bothered to even look at the stickies? This is why I redid the General Campfire Guidelines. I've got simple links that answer simple questions like this.
